All accepted papers need to be prepared in accordance with the Instructions for Authors of Papers to be Published in Springer Computer Science Proceedings found here. Please note that Springer is approved for publication.
For each paper, one of the authors has to complete and send a semi-prefilled license-to-publish agreement to the Springer editorial office to ensure paper inclusion in the proceedings. See here
Important note: Manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism and multiple publications using IEEE CrossCheck Portal. Submitting authors will be checked have they been prohibited from publishing with any or all IEEE publications using The IEEE Prohibited Authors List (PAL) Database.
All accepted papers will be included in the proceedings of the conference. The proceedings would be submitted to Springer for inclusion in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series, which is confirmed by Springer.
The SMARTTECH is a live conference that depends on the presentations given during their sessions, and discussion after the talks and in the breaks. Authors who fail to present their paper leave a gap in the program, which is unacceptable for the conference audience.
Therefore, SMARTTECH is committed to balance the interests of a high-quality conference content with fairness towards the authors and audience members. Consequently, SMARTTECH and its Workshops apply a no-show paper exclusion policy and reserve the right to preclude authors who do not present their paper at the conference from having their papers published in the Springer Conference proceedings
